Master Class Two led by Andrew Blakewell- theatre for children

I found this master class helpful to be able to get a different perspective on how theatre is produced for children and how the producers approach a story and the performances to make them child friendly.
It was interesting to see how they developed a performance depending on the age of the children and who would be in control of the children seeing the performance; these are known as the gatekeepers. If a performance is a title that they made not have heard of they are not likely to be prepared to see it because they don’t know how it will be for the children.
