Saturday night and sunday morning

For this project we started of by reading the novel of saturday night and sunday morning, a revolutionary book of its time about a rebellious, hard-living factory worker juggles relationships with two women, one of whom is married to another man but pregnant with his child. We then looked at the play that was adapted by Amanda Whittington, this will enable us to develop a design in reponse to the play. The idea of the project is to design for the play allowing us to show our own interpretation of the text and trying to contain the chaos of the main characters life within one performance area and encompassing all the scenes and changes.
