I found this master class really useful as it was on a subject matter than was relevant to our project at the time. It was also really good to see one of our tutors show us something that he has worked on and his involvement within his field of expertise.
Sean said that it all started with an email asking him if he wanted to be involved with the project. It all had to be kept secret so it wasnt until he reached the first day that he really found out anything about what would be involved, Danny Boyle worked alot with the team to help them along and to realise a design that had been planmned for a long time.
Each team worked on a different bed for the show, each bed was very large so it was inportant to work with the team closely and to esure everything went well. It was very technical and on a large scale, the bed that Sean worked on was Cruella Deville and her fingers were operated by one of the teams legs. Mark Tinnesley designed the puppet and he knew how the puppeteers would work with the puppet to get the best out of it for the performance.
