During our research we have found that former Prime minister Margaret Thatcher actually quoted Polonius in many of her speeches so we decided to look into this connection. I started by looking at quotes from her that she used and looking at her character in comparison to Polonius.A few quotations including those of Polonius:

I found this video of a news report that followed an IRA attack on the Grand hotel in which she was staying for a conference. It was after this that she returned to Fichley and in her speech quoted Polonius.
