puppets!

Today was all about finishing the puppets just adding the last few touches so that the actors could use them within the creative space and get a feel for how to use them and how they might want to adapt their character. This week is the devising week so its all about getting to know how they move within the space and the chosen scenery.

birds and feet

Today was the development of the birds by adding wool to the outside, the plan was that the birds would almost be like the grandma was going with the children by making birds from wool because there is a reference to knitting with the grandma. i think this made them have character and a nice touch, the other thing i was doing today was shaping the feet for the larger puppets, these were made from wood shaped using a stanley blade and sandpaper.
